I'm currently eating a Three Musketeers bar to celebrate the passing of two of the hardest, most painful classes I've ever taken in my life. Onward to Marketing and Asian Philosophy! Woot woot!

Adventure
Dear Accountants of the World,

I have an immense respect for you after this semester. And I no longer resent the fact that you guys have the best job placement out of college and the highest job security (everyone always needs an accountant). You guys have earned every penny and every steady job you have.
I'd just like you to know that my accounting class may have single-handedly destroyed all desire in me to get a business minor. And it has definitely shaken my faith in my test-taking abilities. Yet it gives me hope that out there somewhere, there is someone who understands all this well enough to make it their life-long career. Someone somewhere out there actually likes this stuff. And that's cool. I respect that. It prevents me from totally condemning accounting as the worst subject in the history of the world.
However, if I've learned anything from this class, it is that I should always hire an accountant for my money. Never attempt this at home.
Sincerely,
Miserable Financial Accounting Student

Madison B has decided that gardettos garlic chips may in fact be a good study snack, since, after devouring entire bag of said snack over the course of a few hours, now has garlic emanating from pores and will most likely have no social invitations to distract her from studying for the next week...

Telltale Signs That I Need More Sleep
1. My phone will not stay charged any more. It seems like every other day now, I have to charge my phone in the middle of the day, instead of its customary nighttime charging. For the longest time, I thought this was be
cause my cell phone harkens from the Dark Ages and was finally slipping away from me.But over the course of this semester, I have realized that that's not it at all. This perpetually low cell phone battery issue comes not from equipment malfunction, but from my lack of sleep. See, I charge my phone in every night when I go to bed and expect it to be fully charged when I wake up in the morning. But when I'm averaging five hours of sleep a night, I guess that's just not enough time for my trusty little phone. Woops!
2. I can fall asleep any time anywhere. Literally.* I'll set my alarm for a ten-minute power nap, lay down on my bed (or put my head on the table, like I did in the library today), and be asleep instantly. Its like magic.

*Been there, done that. ------>
3. To follow up on #2, I can't remember the last time I've laid awake in bed at night. I just crawl in and *bam.* Sleep time.
4. When I can get seven hours of sleep in one night (especially on a school night), I congratulate myself.
5. I get excited when I have the chance to go to bed early (which is any time before 2 am).
6. When I dream of all the great things that summer will bring, too many of my imaginings revolve around sleep -- lazy naps by the pool, sleeping in on the weekends, early bed times during the week, etc.
7. I haven't properly gotten ready for a morning class in over a month. Its like my body physically wont let me wake up earlier than fifteen minutes before a class (I do love that snooze button).
List of Things to Do Before Saturday (before I hop on a plane and fly awaaaay!)

2. Move into new house.
3. Buy a bed for the house.
4. Confirm that the girl subletting my room will in fact be subletting and sleeping on said bed.
5. Print business cards for Cannes.
6. Determine course of action for California.
7. Buy my friend her birthday beverage.
8. Say goodbye to graduating friends. *sniff
9. Tell them all that I secretly wish they were going to be 5th yr seniors (for my sake).
10. Hair cut?
11. Shopping?
12. Hitting up parents for a little money for hair cut and shopping?
13. Breathing and sleeping and eating -- Remind myself to live in general.

"For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin -- real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."

Getting Smarter by the Minute
My bottom right wisdom tooth has been growing in since Thursday morning, when I woke up with an aching jaw and swollen gums. This means I have since been avoiding overly crunchy foods and only chewing with the teeth on the left side of my mouth. This also means I have been taking ibuprofen every 4 hours on the dot for the last five days.
My friend Valerie was kind enough to inform me, right after I'd taken yet another pill (conveniently stored in a TicTac container for safe travel), that ibuprofen does a doozy on a person's liver. I guess I looked worried, because she quickly amended her statement with, "But only if you take it every day for years." Well I do hope my condition doesn't get quite that far.
Overall, this tooth-growing business has not been a pleasant experience. But maybe, just maybe, all this new wisdom I am gaining will provide measurable results on my four finals this week. One can only hope.
