I saw Benicio del Toro on my way to the bathroom in the Palais. L'Entree des artistes (Artists' Entrance) is a great place to spot stars, as its a little known entrance that cars can pick you up by and wisk you away before the crowd overwhelms you (which would definitely happen at the front of the Palais).
On a side note... don't del Toro and Jermaine from Flight of the Concords look remarkably similar?
