Someone who works at Facebook (read the article for details) used the connections between 10 million Facebook friends to draw a map of the world.
So cool!
I also think it is really interesting which countries show up brightly -- and which ones don't. For example, I immediately assumed that China isn't really on the map because of government censorship. But the article states that they actually have their own, more popular social network site and don't really use Facebook.
So Facebook has not, in fact, taken over the world ..... yet.
